Stick To Your Guns is a 5 piece melodic hardcore band from Orange
County, CA. The group began in the summer of 2003 when vocalist Jesse
Barnett was inspired to form a band that would provide him with a
medium to project his viewpoints and reflect his musical influences.
STYG blends melody, heaviness and sincerity into one solid sound that
will cater to fans of Comeback Kid, Throwdown, Ignite and Rise Against.
Time Trials is the debut full length for Edison, NJs infamous The
Mongoloids. Taking cues from the sounds of cross Hudson bands such as
Sheer Terror, Life Of Agony, and The Cro-Mags, the hard edge of the
Time Trials LP comes from these influences, distinctly blending the
gritty and fast eighties sound of bands found on the Where The Wild
Things Are and New Breed compilations, but with a definite precision
in the guitar sound and tone. Though many question how serious a band
named The Mongoloids could be, the critics will find a seriousness in
both content and execution that leaves all questions about the
legitimacy of this band at the door, legendary shirts and aesthetics
